Be Your Authentic Self and Love Life!

When acting from a place of authenticity there is no need to be stressed out and in a hurry to get things done. Be still . Breathe. Being stressed isn't going to make you finish any faster. Being stressed will make your shoulders elevate towards your ears! lol Well, at least that's the case for me! To live as your authentic self is to live in the now. Not thinking about yesterday or wondering what tomorrow will bring. When we live in the past or the present, we truly miss the gift of today.

» Living authentically means honoring yourself. When you do what is right for you, it's right for everyone.

» Living authentically displays wisdom, compassion and discernment.

» When living authentically, there is no need to give excuses or to explain yourself. Simply say, "I won't be able to make it." No need to say why...

» Being authentic requires listening more than speaking. It's when you truly listen and hear another that you connect with them and show them that they are important. It's a gift to them and also a gift to yourself!

» Being authentic shows that when you can receive with grace, then you can truly give. Only in listening can you gain insight, wisdom and offer others anything of true value.

» Being authentic is respecting and valuing yourself...only when you respect, value and love yourself can you love others.

» Being authentic is giving to others. Seeing that the cashier at the store is exhausted, you might point out something great that you see in him/her. You might tell the cashier how much you appreciate what he/she does. It will make his/her day!

Living authentically comes from within. There is only one way to access it and that is through self- acceptance. Once you learn to accept and value yourself, the door to self-knowledge and power begins to open. This comes through deep reflection and sincere longing to know the truth about yourself. We all have a higher self, a victim self and a martyr self. It's learning how to love all three. It's giving love to the part of us who feels like a victim and lovingly helping the martyr see where he/she went off-course. It's all about learning and being kind to ourselves!

The best way to live authentically is to " know thyself."

Live in your truth.
