Happy Spring to You! We had 70 degree weather on Friday and now it is 32 degrees and we have over a foot of snow here in the South! Amazing! I have been SO ready for Spring for such a long time and now it is here and the beautiful, huge snowflakes continue to fall. No worries, it's supposed to be 60 degrees on Monday!
This morning, there was a robin who flew onto my screened-in back porch. It was so afraid that it couldn't see its way out and kept flying into the screen. I went out and tried to help it by moving a chair over to the open door so it land on it and see its way out. I also put birdseed in the door way and sprinkled it outside thinking that it would follow the path. However, that did not happen. Then, another robin heard its call and flew in to help it, but the "trapped" bird was too afraid to follow its friend to the outside world.
After all of the help given to the bird, it finally flew out three hours later. Isn't that a lot like life? Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our fear that we feel stuck and unable to move. We have friends, family and even strangers clearing the path and giving us insight and yet we do not hear them for all of the "garble" going on inside our head. God allows doors to be opened and all we have to do is to take one leap of faith to get past the muck that has us stuck. Yet, sometimes it takes us awhile to gain clarity and to move forward.
Now is the time for planting and watering all of the seeds that we want to grow and blossom this summer and to harvest this fall. It's important to become clear about our dreams and desires and to focus on them and to believe they will come to fruition. It's the time to create your dreams. So dream big and believe in yourself. Focus on seeing and feeling what it will be like when your dreams arrive. Hold on to that feeling as long as you can. That action will fertilize and water your dreams so that you can reap the bounty.
Blessings to you and to all you will create during this time. Have a fabulous Spring!
