Just now settling in from my amazing soul journey to England and Scotland. There were eight of us who made the trip and met up with three more friends in Glastonbury, and several others who showed up and were such a blessing along the way.
The journey was magical and enlightening. Glastonbury is a place where time stands still so that you can face whatever comes up for you. It is said to be a place of Goddess energy where you find your passion. That was true for many who made the journey. We toured many of the sacred places and saw the remains of Camelot, Silbury Hill, Woodhenge, Avebury, the enchanted forest, the Abby, the Chalice Well, the sacred tombs and the Tor.
Stonehenge was my favorite place. We were fortunate to arrive before sunrise and to be able to stand inside of the circle of stones. We were welcomed by a large black bird that hovered over us while staying in one place. It seemed as though the bird was calling out to the others to let them know that we had arrived. If only the stones could have talked, as we were in wonder as such enormous stones were gathered up from a faraway place and situated in this space. There is definitely a calming energy at Stonehenge, as it is now a place where heaven and earth reside.
Before leaving Glastonbury, my lovely friend, Amoda Maa Jeevan stopped by for some tea. It was wonderful and so surreal to meet her face to face. We actually ran into one another on the streets of downtown Glastonbury and recognized one another right away. Amoda and her partner, Kavi, have been on the Spiritual Love Goddess BlogTalkRadio in the past and their message rendered rave reviews. The subject was about relationships and Amoda and Kavi did an amazing job. They will be on the Spiritual Love Goddess show again with more great information to share. So stay tuned!
After saying our goodbyes and leaving Glastonbury, we traveled to Scotland and spent time at the Roslyn Chapel. We also explored the city of Edinburgh which is full of medieval architecture, including some amazing castles. It would have been wonderful to spend more time there as there is so much to see and to learn. Edinburgh is a beautiful city and if you ever have the opportunity to visit please do. You will love it.
This journey was beautiful and heart-felt as it facilitated a releasing of the old and the bringing in of "all that is". It's when we fully know who we are that we can embrace what we are here to be and to do. When this happens, there is no more "existing" and going through the motions. It's saying goodbye to merely existing -- wake up, go to work, go home and go to bed and then do it again the next day. There is more to life than that. When we fully embrace who we are and live from a place of authenticity, clarity, love and compassion, our life changes. It is transformed. We are no longer merely going through the motions in life, but we are LIVING our life - Out Loud!
All of these changes can be made wherever we are in our life, as long as we:
• Recognize what is no longer serving us.
• Take responsibility for whatever it is that is showing up in our life.
• Forgive ourselves and others.
• Show love and compassion for ourselves and others.
• Be thankful for this gift. It has shown up so that we can let it go.
• Know and embrace that we are the creators of our life.
Once we embrace our authenticity and truly know who we are, our life changes in a powerful and fabulous way. We are no longer victims or martyrs but we are the creators of our life. We see others through the eyes of love and compassion and no longer react to the perceived negativity that is presented. We actually get to a point where we are thankful that this has shown up in our life and if we are triggered, we can work through, release, learn and grow. That is what life is about - learning, releasing what no longer serves us, growing and loving. It all starts with loving ourselves and seeing ourselves as the Creator of our life. Truly, it is the only way to live a loving, happy and abundant life.
So Powerful. Blessings to you, my friends.
